MEET YOUR TEACHER
Hi, I’m Georgie. Highlands local, mum of three and product designer with over 20 years experience building digital products. I started Highlands Code Club for fun and to bring a little of the Sydney startup scene to the Highlands.
So, if you have a business idea, or just want to learn how to vibe code, come along to our events and learn how to go from and idea, to a fully realised product!
Frequently Asked Questions
-
None.
You don't need to know how to code, understand databases or know what GitHub is.
We'll start at the beginning and work through everything together.
If you've already experimented with vibe coding, that's great too — you'll have plenty of opportunity to build on what you know.
-
We are maxing the group to just 10 people so Georgina can support everyone on the day. First in first served, so we recommend you register your interest as we expect seats to go fast.
-
We have a few cool Southern Highlands spaces in mind (Bowral, Moss Vale or Mittagong). We'll confirm the venue once we have final numbers, with plenty of notice before the event.
-
Absolutely. Lots of people will. You definitely don't need to bring a bestie — we'll be building and learning together.
-
Of course.
We're calling this one Mums Who Vibe Code because our founder, Georgina, is passionate about getting more women into tech — and getting more mums building cool s**t in a supportive environment.
We also plan our events around school drop-off and pick-up because, well, #mumlife.
But you don't need to be a mum — or a woman — to join us.
-
Nope.
This is genuinely about getting people together to learn, experiment, build things and have fun.
We don't have a course to sell you.
Some people knit. We like to code.
